‘Ronaldo’ says he extends contract with Al-Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly agreed a new contract with Al Nassr, keeping the Portuguese international as the “highest-paid player in the history of world football”. The

He has been linked with a number of other clubs across the world, including Al-Hilal, where Brazilian superstar Neymar is currently playing.

The Portuguese never really saw eye to eye with Erik ten Hag and in November 2022, he gave a now infamous interview with Piers Morgan.

He criticised the club, the owners and incredibly his own manager despite still being a paid member of the squad.

As a result, both United and Ronaldo agreed it was best to part ways and the Portugal legend signed a lucrative deal with Saudi Arabian club, Al Nassr.

However, Ronaldo has reportedly held talks with the club on a number of issues. And has tried to secure confirmation of a large-scale spending spree in the summer transfer window, with Al-Nassr also eyeing a title triumph this season.

Ronaldo has now scored 81 goals in 90 appearances for Al-Nassr, maintaining an impressive personal record even at the age of 39.

He is also a prolific goalscorer for former clubs Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus.
